Internet Jobs -Auctions |
21 August 2008 |
Internet jobs can provide a great opportunity for a little extra income. Or, internet jobs can provide complete financial freedom as a full time job opportunity. This booming industry has a wide variety of opportunities available.
One of the internet jobs that many people are currently taking advantage of is freelance work. Freelance work is, essentially, contracted work with a variety of businesses or individuals that can be completed from home. Popular forms of freelance working include writing, photography, web design, secretarial work, medical transcription, and medical billing.
In most cases, each of these internet jobs only requires a little talent and creativity. There are plenty of opportunities available in the areas of writing, photography, web design, and secretarial work for anyone who can prove she is capable of doing the work. Therefore, these industries can be entered without any special type of schooling.
All of these freelance jobs, however, can potentially earn the worker up to $30 per hour, or more, once established.
Another of the most popular types of internet jobs is selling on eBay. ebay is an on-line auction site that sells everything from collectibles and photographs to cars and real estate. Those who find their fortune on eBay do so by buying items, be it at wholesale establishments, garage sales, closeout stores, or other places, then reselling the item for more on eBay. eBay also provides the opportunity to tap into an international market. Therefore, some items might be cheaper in one country or not available at all, making the items high demand on eBay.
Internet jobs do not, however, always require as much knowledge or talent as freelance work or selling on eBay. Other internet jobs can actually be quite simple. For example, many people are making great money completing surveys on the internet. For these internet jobs, all a person needs to do is register with survey companies. These companies will then send various surveys to that person – and pay him for his time.
The reason companies are willing to pay people to take surveys is really quite simple. They are trying to gather information about potential future products and they are trying to find the best way to market their products. Consumer feedback is invaluable. For this reason, some surveys pay as much as $75, and most surveys only take a few minutes to complete.
